Town of Ridgway, Colorado
At the foot of the majestic Mt. Sneffels (14,150 ft.) in the Uncompaghre River valley lays the picturesque town of Ridgway. Offering the best of southwestern Colorado with an open, sunny climate, clean air and water and sparkling clear night skies this quiet Western town as a special energy of its own.
The town boasts a new library with an expansive collection, a central town park where concerts and events bring the community together, a new high school and a K-6 elementary school. Our Railroad Museum and Visitors Center welcome travelers as they come to visit. Many restaurants and dining establishments as well as the re-opened historic Sherbino Theater offer live music and entertainment. We have an active arts community and abundance of recreational opportunities.
Residential choices include the central part of town with historic smaller homes, many of which have been updated. Several subdivisions which vary in location, views, topography, age of homes and size of lots offer something for everyone!
