Offering the best of southwestern Colorado with an open, sunny climate, clean air and water and sparkling clear night skies this quiet Western town as a special energy of its own.

The town boasts a new library with an expansive collection, a central town park where concerts and events bring the community together, a new high school and a K-6 elementary school. Our Railroad Museum and Visitors Center welcome travelers as they come to visit. Many restaurants and dining establishments as well as the re-opened historic Sherbino Theater offer live music and entertainment. We have an active arts community and abundance of recreational opportunities.
